SENIOR PASTOR - Cynthia Kivett is the dynamically anointed Founder and Lead Pastor of Destiny Life Center Ministries in Kansas City, MO. She is an Ordained Minister with New Life Fellowship, Incorporated of Topeka, KS.

Pastor Kivett has been called by God to preach and teach His uncompromising Word. Her life carries a presence that creates a determined life-changing atmosphere. Her motto is, “I AM victorious in Christ Jesus, no matter what!”

Pastor Kivett believes in service. Her passion is reaching outside of the four walls and ministering to the community. She is actively engaged with several community agencies, through partnerships and collaborations. You will see her throughout the week along with members of Destiny feeding the community.

She is the mother of 4 daughters, Dee, Teresa, Tyree (transitioned to be with the Lord, November 2019) and Alesha and the grandmother of 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.

YOUTH DIRECTOR - Carlotta Burt is a Kansas City, Missouri native with four adult children and six grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Her service in youth ministry began over 25 years ago and she has served as the director of The Armor of God Youth Ministry at Destiny Life Center since 2013. As a youth Ministry leader, Ms. Burt strives to provide a fun and engaging experience while impressing the importance of Godly character and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. She is grateful for the opportunity to encourage our next generation to be successful by making wise choices in every aspect of their lives.

OUTREACH MINISTER - Larry Stanley joined Destiny Life Center in 2013.

 The late Bishop Gary saw Larry’s passion and desire to give back to others, by sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ and not just handing out food. But to give the people, a message of hope and to keep instilling in them that, “You are loved, no matter what your circumstance may be.”

Bishop Kivett elevated Larry to Director of Outreach where he continues his legacy to empower the team and continue to reach out to those who may never come through the church doors. 

Levette Amerison was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  She has been married to James for 21 years.  Together they have 5 kids that keep them very busy.  Levette enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and traveling. She has been a part of Destiny Life Center since November 2019 and is excited to be a part of the Media Ministry Team.

PRAISE & WORSHIP MINISTER - Dee Jackson is an end time voice sent by God to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in a pertinent and passionate way. Her mission is to be the vehicle in which the Spirit of God will use to bring transformation to those that are bound and encouragement to the weary. Dee is a wife and the mother of 2 daughters. Regardless of situations and circumstances, her motto and scripture for life is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”!

Monteshia Goodloe is a wife and mother of two children.  She is a social worker who currently works in the hospital setting. As a social worker Monteshia is an advocate for the individuals she serves. She believes that empowering individuals with the knowledge, information, and resources they need is vital. She also believes that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect despite their current situations.

When a fellow Destiny member spent her final days at the Hospice House, volunteers provided a holiday meal that blessed the family and ignited a desire in the ministry to do the same for others. Monteshia enjoys spending time with the families at Hospice House and showing them they are not alone during such an emotional time.
